Fiat Stilo very hard suspension

Car: Fiat Stilo
Variant: 1.9 jtd
Model Year: 2004
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
The suspension on my Stilo is now running extremely stiffly, especially the rear. It is ok on normal driving i.e. not like a sports suspension, but if I go over a pothole or a bump in the road it feels like there is no suspension at all. I've had the rear shockers changed but it made no difference. Any ideas?

you need to establish what the rear suspension is doing, disconnect the shockers and check suspension for good free travel, assuming in not something simple like over inflated tyres
