power steering on my punto working fine at stand still even the city mode drive away fine then steering becomes very heavy can anyone help thanks

Could get alternator output tested as this can affect the EPAS on that car .They also suffer from this failure

Fiat Punto/Brava/Bravo Electric Power Steering suffering failure.




Fiat Punto/Brava/Bravo electic power steering suffering failure. Two types of failure:
i) Electronic torque sensor which is self contain within the shaft
ii) Electronic control unit, which can be changed without removing the entire assembly.
BBA supply remanufactured unit with 2 year warranty.
