2010 Fiat Punto boot release not working

Worth checking fuse .

Door locking/unlocking motors, dead lock activation motors, boot unlocking motor 4 20

The fuses are grouped in three control units: on the dashboard, in the engine compartment and in the left-hand side of the boot.

Many thanks for your reply, I will investigate this weekend. Is it possible that the relay can have an intermittent fault because if I disconect the wring to the lock it will operate once, maybe twice and then it stops working again?

On some cars the wiring where it enters at top of boot / tailgate in rubber sheath can get damaged causing intermittent fault or inop , dependent if wires touching or not .If it has a relay , always possible it could be sticking
