2009 Fiat Punto battery draining rapidly

Bought the car with a faulty alternator I replaced it with a new one started the car up was all fine I went back the next day and the battery was dead so I changed the battery and the same thing happened the next day

First thing to do would be to test alternator and see what charging voltage is present ( if any )

It's 14.4 volts when running

Check for a parasitic drain on battery , provided the battery you fitted is o.k and fully charged / load tested .
