My car has one of them after market air intake thingys that kids like to stick on improve performance. Guess what? It dont work and its shit! now I have a car that coughs n splutters drinks petrol for fun and has no power?
? I have bought an original fiat air intake to replace the chrome lump of crap on my car. But I dont think this will cure the problem? any ideas? Plus! Now some daft lights have come on the dash? orange engine symbol, orange air bag symbol, and a red air bag symbol?
Can anyone help?

Yes these aftermarket induction kits usually bring on warning lights as the vehicle is receiving more air than it normally would ,best to get the fault codes read and take it from there ,your air bag warning light is a separate issue ,again there will be codes in the vehicle if there's a warning lamp on.

hi i do a few of these with the same problems it is poss 1 of 3 things 1st the module that sits behind the throttle body (carb) remove airfilter box and you will see it very common fault
2nd coil packs there are 2 of them very cheap from your local factors
3rd most extreme headgasket which is a common fault again
but please check with scanner and get the fault codes
