Fiat Punto automatic choker

Car: Fiat Punto
Variant: Grande 1.2
Model Year: 2006
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Posible Automatic Choker
Afternoon,

I have an 06 Fiat Punto Grande 1.2 that seems to have the same problem occurring..

When I start the engine up it is fine revs slightly but settles down after a few seconds, but soon as I put it into gear and get ready to move off it is as if I am fighting against the car to stop it speeding off.. I am loosing a lot of petrol due to this as my car eats petrol up instead of being more on the conserving side..

Can anyone advise what may be the problem? Has been back to dealership x2 in past 6 months and they have done diagnostical checks nothing shows..

Advise would be helpful please..
