Check / replace the fuel filter , IAC ( idle air control valve ) ,

While driving the engine suddenly cuts out or sometimes just looses power like a cylinder is down it lights up engine failure can happen every few miles or ho 30kls and be ok the garage has checked all likely faults to no avail a auto electrician tested

And said it could be the 4th injector leaking back but he has not got back to me after 1 month

If scanned with suitable equipment it should show any stored fault codes rather than guessing and perhaps fitting parts not needed

The auto electrician is supposed to be Very good but he is I fear a little eccentric he connected his computer and told me what he thought but said he would come back in a few days but he does not answery calls over a month

Ridiculous way to treat a customer and often happens when they are not sure of fault or want to take the job on . Better to get someone else for second opinion .

1.9 diesel engine 2009 model I bought it cheap knowing it had a problem I bought it from a mechanic who changed all he was aware that could be the problem to no avail
