Daewoo Matiz identification plate

Car: Daewoo Matiz
Variant: 1.0 se plus
Model Year: 2003
Categories: Leaks & Noises
I have purchased a Daewoo Matiz 1.0 se plus,2003.
It was bought privately and knowing it was an insurance write cat c.Before collection the seller taxed and mot the car but after 3 months the documents had not arrived so I visited the local DVLA office to find that the cheque had bounced and the correct VIC check had not been carried out.
Can somebody tell me where the identification plate is on the Matiz.

A VIC check must be carried out by a costa testing station to make sure that the car is as it should be, ie not two cars in one. The id plates are usually under the bonnet on the front catch plate, and at the bottom of the windscreen on the near side of the vehicle and also down the side of the drivers seat under the carpet. All these numbers should match and with no signs of any tampering...
