Dacia Sandero engine won't start after vehicle checks completed.

Car: Dacia Sandero
Variant: Comfort
Model Year: 2021
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
Most of the time the car starts with the key just lying on the passenger seat but at most inconvenient times you can bet it won't start. I get the usual vehicle checks completed but the engine refuses to start. Moving the key close to the reader makes no difference. By pure luck i have found there's some sort of sensitivity to the handbrake. Now, i am a 5ft tall woman and by no way am i forceful with the handbrake. The only way to get engine started is releasing the handbrake and let it roll slightly then re-start the car. Extremely annoying as it is only a few months old. Any ideas what's causing this?

Never came across or heard of anything like that before , strange .Assuming the car is still covered by warranty , contact dealership as see if it's a known fault or any solutions / software updates that may apply .

@whittingehame Thank you, that was going to be my next step if no one can offer a workaround.

Really better to leave to dealership as any possible workaround or anything you may do could give them grounds to reject any warranty claims
