Citroen Xsara hesitates when passengers in rear

Car: Citroen Xsara
Model Year: 2003
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Since my car went for a service and it had a drop link replaced in the rear wheel it seems to hesitate and try to slow down when I have passengers in the rear seats. It drives fine when there are people sat in the front. I can't hear any rubbing or scraping, I have no idea why the car would do this. Hope someone can shed light on this problem. Thank you in advance for any help.

hello there first thing get some family and friends to get in the car with you go out in the car for about 5 to 10 mile trip and when you get to where you are going get out of the car and feel the back wheels if they are hot to the touch then the hand brake has been ajusted up to much and will want reseting back abit if this is the case take it back to where the car was serviced and they should be able to resolve the problem for you hope this helps tom

I am not aware of any drop links on the rear of your vehicle as they are normally associated with the front anti roll bar on xsaras and are very common for wearing out, however you may have had a link rod for the rear brake load sensing valve fitted and this could be incorrectly adjusted or the hand brake is over adjusted
