Citroen Xsara Picasso citroen picasso water system

Car: Citroen Xsara Picasso
Variant: 2.0 XL
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Hi
I own a Citroen Picasso 2.0 XL. I am gettting a warning sign saying "Top Up Water Level" every half an hour or so. I opened the bonnet and found that one clip has come loose on what looks like an engine cover, meaning that the cover is loose. It has also knocked off a cap in the middle, but I'm not sure what should go in here as the sign would be on the cap. The dipstick has also come loose and is a few cm out of it's housing. With the engine cover off, there is another cap with an oil sign on which I assume is the oil inlet. Is the lid that I have lost where I pour the water in to top up ? If not, what goes in there ?

HELP !

the cap missing is possibly to an oil filler tube as it is probably difficult to access the oil filler cap on the cam cover. the coolant expansion tank should have a level sensor. check coolant level if low top up if it is ok then suspect the sensor is faulty
