Fuse F15 for the display and steering wheel unit is blowing when brake pedal is pressed. Is it a known fault? Any ideas?

Disconnect brake switch and see if it's o.k .If so you will have to trace fault on brake light circuit i.e switch , wiring , lamps etc .

Could someone have replaced the fuse with one that`s the wrong specification? This would cause it to blow every time, check that you replace it going by spec` not by copying what was there before.Good luck.

start with the easy things first, if it does not blow till you actually press the brake pedal then try unplugging both rear light clusters and also does it have a tow bar socket that may have a wire shorted ,even it still blows you will at least start to narrow things down,it will be more involved after this and could require specialist help good luck
