Citroen Xsara Picasso faulty instrument display lighting

Car: Citroen Xsara Picasso
Variant: 1.8 sx
Model Year: 2001
Categories: Leaks & Noises
The entire lights to the instrument display are working fine except the fuel level & temperature level. These two levels have no lighting at all. You can just about see them if you practicaly put your nose on the dashboard dispaly panel. Might this be an easy fix such as replacing the bulbs or might there be a different repair solution?

As you say , could be just bulb/s.

This morning a warning symbol appeared on the digital diplay panel. It's yellow & is located to the furthest right side of the display panel. The owners handbook states a fuel injection fault, is this correct or are other gremlins at work here? Last night i dreamt i'd eaten a 10 pound marshmallow....when i woke up my pillow was gone!!!
