First thing to check would be coolant level .If ok , could be temp sensor , sticking thermostat , engine cooling fan not coming on or many other causes

Coolant levels are ok. Fan comes on. On the computer an error comes up with a code for the indicator- this code also came up a few weeks ago when a fuse for the windscreen washers blew and stopped them working.
