Citroen Xsara Picasso breaks

So not long ago she passed her mot but just before this I was getting a grinding noise from the break pedal which is strange because she never made that noise before .
And my mechanic can’t find the issue, cleaned all sensors abs breaks checked and still got the noise .
Any help would be appreciated thank you .

Your braking efficiency and condition is checked in the MOT and would fail or get an advisory if anything found , so would seem to be fine . If your mechanic has heard the noise and it is still there after the work he has carried out , I would suggest getting a second opinion if he cannot diagnose the cause .
