Hi, i have a problem with my auto box slipping in first gear every time you take off, every so often a warning light comes on the dash and the car seems to go into a limp mode, no power , if you turn off the engine and restart it , it goes again but still slipping, any ideas please

The only way you will find what is causing this is to get a diagnostic scan carried out ,

Check the automatic transmission oil. But as previous post needs to be scanned.
