Citroen Xsara Picasso clutch problem

Car: Citroen Xsara Picasso
Variant: 1.8 petrol
Model Year: 2002

I have a wierd noise come from what i can only assume is the clutch but it only happens when the car is stationary or has been running constanly for a few hours. Any ideas on what it could be ?

If it has a dual mass flywheel , could be signs that it's on the way out / failing .

I already checked an it doesnt have dual mass just baffling me dont know if to change it now or to wait and see what goes

Why do you suspect clutch , have you narrowed it down to there?

Yeah cause when it does it while im driving its always when im changing gear or dipped the clutch

Could be general wear on clutch , bearing worn , fingers on diaphram worn , spigot bush , centre plate springs rattling etc .etc .Wont know till you pull it apart IF you are sure it's the clutch .
