Citroen Xsara Picasso rear lights not working

I have lost both rear lights and both number plate lights, all other lights including brake lights work fine its just the side lights. I have changed the bulbs, fuses and light cluster to no avail anyone help??

Check basics power and earth,s at light unit first and take it from there
