Citroen Xsara Picasso rear suspention

How or can I up rate the suspension because when going over speed bumps exhaust scraps No matter what speed. I know the rear are torsion bar can you re tension them.

hi there should be no need to uprate suspension make sure exhaust is not sitting too low and all mountings are in place check suspension front and rear check front springs for breaks rear trailing arm bearings wear look at rear wheels if they lean in at top {negative camber} bearings are worn this would make car sit lower at rear

have checked front springs and shocks no problems have checked rear swinging arm bearings there seems no play on these!.Have checked it against another picasso and seems a lot softer (easier to push down with a lot less effort.

ride height is set by springs or on rear of yours torsion bars if it is soft on suspesion you could try fitting some new or uprated rear dampers
