Citroen Xsara Picasso loud whirring noise when turning

whenever i turn the steering wheel (either way) there is a loud whirring/whining noise it seems to be coming from the power steering but i'm not sure what can i do about this please help! x

check your power steering fluid level

I had this problem too, it was an air lock in the power steering fluid
