Citroen Xsara Picasso day running lights

I would like to install day running lights but i have been told must connect direct to the battery under the front passengers seat.Can someone give me any advise. Also what number fuse is the side lights on and also what colour is the live wire to the side lights. Jobo.

you should connect them directly to the battery or they wont turn off unless you instal a switch. you should use a relay with one terminal connected to the battery for constant live and the other live feed from an ignition live.
