I am a mechanical novice!!
My Citroen Synergie engine (1.9TD)runs smoother if I disconnect the electric connection (timer??) from the (2nd) fuel injector. why should this be? Does it do the engine any harm to run it without this electric connection? Cheers.

THAT CUTS THE FUEL TO THAT CYLINDER THIS MAY MEAN YOUVE GOT A LEAKY INJECTOR A GARAGE WOULD PERFORM A LEAK OFF TEST THIS WILL CHECK THE INJECTORS PERFORMANCE RECC A DIESEL SPECIALIST AS NOT A LOT OF SERVICE POSS ON THAT ENGINE
