Citroen Saxo driver door sticking

Car: Citroen Saxo
Variant: 1.1 Forte
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
has anyone else had this problem? When I shut my driver side door either from the inside or outside, it bounces as if there's a seatbelt or something stuck in the way. It sometimes takes me 7/8 attempts to close it with a bit of force, in the cold weather I have to get in the passenger side or else I have no hope in shutting it. The door hasn't dropped, sometimes it shuts on first attempt. Not had an issue with the passenger door and no one has been swinging or pulling on the driver door. Does anyone know a solution or cost for repair? Thanks

Either needs the door rehanging , door check needing adjusted or lock asembly .Really hard to be more specific without seeing car .Could be a simple two min adjustment .

its probably a faulty lock.as long as all other doors shut ok and lock ok. Could also check the wires in the door shut incase there is a broken one.

forgot to mention the door striker as this could be loose.
