I have recently noticed when i apply the foot brake my dash light's / sidelights come on. Also if i have my sidelight's on and i pull up on the side of the road and hold my brake / clutch down and turn my ignition off and pull the key out it still runs but when i turn my sidelights of it cuts the engine out ?? can any one help ??

The problem sounds like a wiring issue, You have probably got a trapped loom which has cross circuited the wires within the loom. iIt could be around the area of the brake pedal or the linkage but you will probably need a auto electrician to check it if there is nothing apparent in the area.

you have a short circuit... suspect fuse box... get a reputable sparky on it!!!!
