Citroen Saxo battery keeps dying

ive had the car 5 months and im now on 3rd battery, first one died so rac replaced it , it went again , rac said it was faulty so replaced it , now its gone again and again rac say its reading faulty but cant understand why !they dont really think its the batteries fault but cant tell me what else could be causing it ! very minimal electrics in car , lights and radio are always turned off and battery when checked isnt saying its being drained so were puzzled ! any ideas ?

Checked alternator output/charging o.k ?

as above sounds like it should be the alternater, price up a refurb aswell as a new as sometimes refurb can save a lot of money and work just as well

i would check the earth point on gearbox
