Citroen DS3 my coolant is not circulating as a disc doesn’t go back in so overheats and comes out of top of reservoir.

Car: Citroen DS3
Variant: Ds3
Model Year: 2013
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & LightsLeaks & Noises
My lights side lights and main lights don’t work together either only separately since this problem. I have a loose fuse and don’t know whether to change single fuse or whole fuse box.

Dont know what disc you refer to . Lot easier to tighten and replace fuse first unless there are other problems with fuse box ; Could be light switch / stalk like this which is faulty but other possible causes also

Water / coolant leak could be engine coolant fan not coming on , sticking thermostat , head gasket , water pump to name a few faults that will cause it .

Underneath the coolant reservoir there is a disk that goes in and out. If it stays out the coolant doesn’t circulate.

Thank you for reply.
