Citroen C5 front end rise and fall

Car: Citroen C5
Model Year: 2003
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
When I switch off and lock the car, on many occasions the front end, both sides, continues to rise and fall for over 5 minutes before stopping. I am now used to it, not bothered about getting it fixed, it bemuses people walking by when it is parked up. I guess it is an electrical/electronic malfunction. I just wondered why it does it!
Overall, a great car, underrated except by owners.

Hi, your not alone, mine does it sometimes when driving say in a carpark or at traffic lights.
i have found that parking on flat level ground helps. It also seems worse when the car has a bit of extra weight in it.

I had a similar problem with my car rising up and staying there, it was the front height sensor sticking the first few times I fixed it with a lot of WD-40, but ended up changing the sensor(quite an easy job) and wasn't too expensive.
