Citroen C5 headlight not working correctly

Car: Citroen C5
Variant: 2.0 diesel
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Ok here goes,,,
The n/s dipped headlight has an intermittant fault.

I am driving with the lights on then after a few minutes or a few hours the n/s headlight will go out ,then on , then out again , then on again, then out and stay out until you manually switch them back on.
Then the same will happen again after they have been on for a while.
Then duration between then lights going on and off is 3 seconds every time.

Has anyone had this problem or does know how i can fix it.

The citroen dealer has had it on the diagnostics and cant find the problem!!!

many thanks
