Citroen C5 clutch gone

while driving the clutch went, car engine stopped and wont start again ended up at side of road. has anyone else ever come across this.

It's not just a clutch in there,there's also the crank angle sensor ,primary and vital the engine starting and running,
and if the dmf has gone loose it'll have crunched the cas.
