Citroen C5 wipers erratic

This occurred after the dealer fitted a new fuse box to fix an engine cutting out problem. Ever since then the wipers have behaved oddly, with the left one parking upright. The dealer says its coincidence, and I need either one or two wiper motors! Am I being led up a garden path here? The car is 4 years old with 74,000 miles. Appreciate some guidance here. Try checking the electric connector to make sure that it is connected properly. Other than that, it does sound like you may need a new wiper motor unfortunately ...

I've been experiencing the same problem with my wipers - left one goes into the vertical position and only the right one works. Now the wipers have started to work normally again, but on the odd occasion stop working altogether! I've been told by the dealer that i require the right hand (master) motor replaced. The dealer has quoted £400 to complete the work but i feel there's something else wrong as the wipers will work for weeks without a hitch but then stop for no apparent reason. Any advice n a solution?
