Citroen C4 gearbox lag

Very slow gear-change. 1-2-3-4 feels like the car is pulling back a second before making the change. Came with the car, never owned a Citroen so i might wonder if this is normal/standard?

Not normal , but with a car of that year , could be anything . Needs checked out and scanned with suitable equipment that covers transmission and all systems / modules for fault codes
