2008 Citroen C4 2008 c4 16hdi cranking but will not start

hi my car is cranking over but will not start i have checked all fuses an relays plus replaced crank shaft sensor the car was driving fine 1 day then nx day it just would not start

Could be many things need more info on what's happening and been checked . Could be fuel related , need to check pressure or change fuel filter . Try easy start in intake .

hi thanks for reply car was serviced 6 week ago an was driving fine,(as i said in first post going well all day 1 day an then no starting the next) however it does sound as if its a fuel prob but i have tryed the good old easy start also loosend injector pipe closest to timing belt was getting fuel to that 1 but strang thing is that after cranking a time or 2 we loose the fuel gauges an light on display on unit on middle of dash.

Load test your battery .May be too much of a draw on starter when cranking . Would try changing fuel filter and priming when replacing in case you are possibly drawing air or s**t in fuel system

hi ive replaced fuel fliter just tryed quick blast of easy start an she started but wouldent keep running is there any other comon faults with the starting of this car

Can you hear the fuel pump buzz for a second or two when switching on ignition as it should do ? does sound like a fuel problem

i know some of the citroens have a fuel pump in the tankbut ive alredy removed tank unit may car dosent have 1, i also rplaced fuel pump relay wich is mounted to the fuse box cover on p,s
