Citroen C4 battery charge fault

Variant: 1.6 hdi auto

This display appears only when you get a Service Due reminder on the screen. It now has a new battery ,and the same thing happens. The car is starting and running fine. If you reset the Service Due reminder, it also resets the Battery Wiring display ? please what could be the problem. Many thanks
