First....DONT BELIEVE ANY WARNINGS ON THE DASHBOARD OR ERROR CODES UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED THOUGHROUGHLY FOR A PHYSICAL PROBLEM.
I have been following your suggestions and looking on YouTube for how to fix/fit replacement parts, also checking costs.
1) Dashboard says depollenation fault
2) Error code says EGR fault.
Following these on you tube ! To determine how to fix the problem I stumbled on a possible air mass sensor problem.
Looked under the bonnet to do a quick check as shown.
THE WHOLE OF THE PIPE TO, AND THE AIR MASS UNIT WITH THE ADJACENT PIPE ARE FALLING OFF. PIPE DISCONNECTED.
I have done nothing yet, as the car was serviced about 3 weeks ago by a local MAIN DEALER.
I will be contacting them when they open tomorrow morning (Jan 3rd). The parts were obviously not fitted back correctly. Thanks for your help it pointed me in the right direction. Wish I could add pictures.
