The car had a new battery fitted by the local Citroen garage. Now, after driving for about 15 min the time and date display starts flashing, I get intermittent faults for airbags, seatbelts, air pollution system, lose mileage, trip mileage, petrol gauge.
The garage could find no fault, but claims that our aftermarket car radio is to blame, as it can not communicate with the ECU. They want to build in a new car radio for £300.
Are they correct? These faults did not occur with the old battery.
