Citroen C3 Timing Chain Tensioner Problems
Problems mentioning the Timing Chain Tensioner on the Citroen C3
Headlight bulb has 12v power but I've tried 3 or 4 bulbs and it won't come on. The side light bulb is also out.

What problems can be caused by a faulty Timing Chain Tensioner?
Engine makes ticking sound
When idling the engine sounds like its ticking inside. The ticking noise is sometimes louder, often just after starting up it's louder. The ticking sound increases in frequency when the accelerator is pressed down to increase engine revs.
Check Engine warning light showing on dashboard
The dashboard warning light showing on this page (or one very similar, sometimes a slightly different shape or colour) has appeared on the dashboard and doesn't go off when the car is running.
