Citroen C3 wheel squeal....

Car: Citroen C3
Variant: 1.4 Desire
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Hi, it's been posted before but there's no resolution to it posted...
When I'm driving it's fine for about 5 miles..then the front wheel start squealing...
If I'm in a traffic jam it's horrid...
Put the brakes on and the noise goes away...
Doesn't matter if going slow or fast..the noise id the same volume...loud..Just edging forward slightly can make it squeal..
I've checked the brakes..they look fine..I've cleaned the psds and given the wheel area a good blow out in case anything was stuck in there..
It first started when I was reversing but now it's n/s and o/s in forward drive..n/s always starts first and is the loudest..
If I veer left to right the noise will stop and start...If I'm going round a round-a-bout steering right..it's ok..when I straighten up again...it's there..

Any Ideas??

You have got to strip down front pads , clean out calliper body , check piston is free . Then coat back of pads and contact point of pads with Copperslip grease and refit . Make sure pads are sliding freely .Could also check for wear/ play at front wheel bearing .
