Citroen C3 intermittent starts

Model Year: 2006

Start car drive about 2 miles get out for 5min or 1/2 hour car will not start, leave for over 1 hour and car starts. ???

That problem can occur with a faulty crankshaft sensor which fails when hot and causes non start till cools down again
