Cannot remove the ignition coils to gain access to the spark plugs.

You removing the ignition coils bracket ?

Not sure what you mean.
The coil / rods each fit individually into the engine i.e. not fixed together in a bracket as such.
Have seena couple of videos online and these things are suppoded to pull out reasonably once the leads have beenremoved, but these don't seem to want to shift for some reason.
They're really tightly in and will not pull up.
Maybe I'm just getting weak?
