Citroen C3 petrol guage
Variant: 1 litre
Model Year: 2007
when i fill up with petrol, the guage is only reading quater full... needless to say i have to keep topped up otherwise guage is useless. Could it be a sticky sender unit in tank? is this easy to fix if this is the problem?

Yes it does sound like the tank sender is playing up, if you remove it you can test it manually whilst still connected
