Citroen C3 automatic transmission problem

Car: Citroen C3
Variant: 1.4 SX Auto
Model Year: 2002
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
I took my Citroen C3 car to a specialist for automatic transmission and run a diagnostic test using a LAUNCH X431 computer. These were the 3 codes that appeared:

1) Slip fault (clutch/brakes):Local - Intermittment fault
2) Vehicle speed from ABS (CAN) fault:Distant - Intermittment fault
3) Sequence solenoid 1 fault (EVS1) fault:Local - Permanent fault

He told me that he needs to change the solenoid which would cost me 295 GBP. Can somebody tell me please if this will fix my problem for sure? And is the price he told me a reasonable one? Thanks.
