Citroen Berlingo indicators - motorway setting

Car: Citroen Berlingo
Variant: 1.6 Hdi
Model Year: 2010
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Citroen have this irritating feature that they have added to the indicator funcion of the Berlingo van -- motorway setting. If you flick the indicator it will flash three times no matter what. This means if you accidentally flick the stalk you can't cancel the indicator straight away...it flashes three times before cancelling!! If you are using your indicator, but in cancelling it you flick the stalk too far the other way it indicates three times the other way before cancelling.

It drives me mad...and I can't believe Citroen would add this facility without giving you the option of disabling it.

My question -- is there any way of disabling this infernal motorway setting?

Many thanks,

Tony.

Lots of cars have this apart from Citroen , Ford ,Vauxhall to name a few .Find it quite useful to be honest .
