Citroen Berlingo fault gearbox

I have a Citroen Berlingo 2014 1.6 diesel semi-automatic.

My problem is with automatic transmission,
When it set on A and I drive sometimes does not want to shift up from first gear just sticks on first gear however when I drive in semi-automatic M the gears work perfectly,
Also, I do have a gearbox warning light on my dashboard.
Will very much appreciate if anyone has any info on this problem, Thanks!

Scan it and see what is triggering the " gearbox warning light on my dashboard." and what fault codes show
