Citroen Berlingo starting problems

Car: Citroen Berlingo
Variant: 2.0 hdi
Model Year: 2004
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
When I turn key to start the car some times the car starts first time, other times the car sounds like it has a dead battery, but there is nothing wrong with the battery as I have tried it on two different cars and they started straight up, every now and then when I am trying to start the car the dash lights will cut out and then come straight back on them the car will try to start again

To check your battery correctly , it needs LOAD tested .You need to check your battery terminals and any earth you may have from the power unit to body . It could be a faulty / lazy starter with a bad bit on it . Could also test the starter draw when cranking .
