Citroen Berlingo courtesy light

Car: Citroen Berlingo
Variant: nemo 1.4 petrol van
Model Year: 2013
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Courtesy light not working on drivers door, all other working. I removed the door switch to find there are no wires attached they must have fallen off. I can't find the missing wire as I am trying to hook it via a small hole the switch runs in. Which way would the wire have been run to the switch? Should I try hooking from the bottom the left right or above the switch hole? Do you know of any other other easy DIY fix? It's a Nemo 2013 van the Citroen list above doesn't have Nemo in it the nearest appeared to be the Berlingo. Thanks for the help, regards Neil

Not sure which direction the wire comes from on your model but you should be able to locate the wire by taking off the panels then run it back into place using wire or similar cable would use the original cable though as just easier

Thank you. I've taken the panels off that cover the seatbelt housing and can see a blue and white wire with the right connector on lying loose, so I presume that will be one of the wires as the switch has two connectors I also presume the other would be the ground / earth which I can't see. I've looked at the passenger side and there is indeed a back wire and a blue and white wire connected to the switch. Do you happen to know if it matters which is connected to which connector or how to tell other than by trial and error. I worried about fusing something and making life even more difficult for myself. I think I'll just try to copy the passenger side unless you can tell me anything I can do to be certain. Thanks again.

Should work either way as just making the circuit when you open the door by engaging the switch
