Citroen Berlingo fault gearbox flashes on dash

Recovery guy plugged his computer thing in and error code P171A came up. He plugged it in as engine management light was on after I got a puncture. Also the gearbox fault kept flashing on the screen. He turned the engine management light off and the car seemed fine. Yesterday the gearbox fault started flashing again. The engine management light hasn't come back on.

You need to get it scanned and see what codes are showing .

It's a P171A fault. I've googled it and just get Peugeot results.
