Citroen Berlingo ignition

Just drove the van 126miles from Nottingham to near Chorley stopped it went to start it again and wouldn't start it just clicks can anyone help cheers

My major worry is these engines are prone to oil starvation or in other words seizing up!
So it may be a starter or battery fault but the first thing I'd do is see if I could turn the engine over by hand.
If you have no tools then ignition off,
in 2nd gear,
jack up one side so the wheel is free to turn and see if you can turn the engine over by rotating the free wheel.
The wheel should turn and you ought to see with the bonnet open,
That the engine turns,
watch the alternator drive belt.
Hope for your sake I'm wrong but I've just seen too many of these 1.6 hdi's that are locked.
I have actually got one in now and the oil starvation damage looks like it has killed everything in the engine!
