Citroen Berlingo not starting after been left for 1 day

Car: Citroen Berlingo
Variant: 1.6 desiel
Model Year: 2008
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
My car was serviced 3 days ago I mentioned to the garage that I thought the battery maybe faulty because it needed a jump start 4 days earlier. The garage found no fault with the battery and suggested the alternator. The car started the next day but sounded a bit tired but worked ok. Anyone any ideas before I get ripped off.

First check your earth strap is okay from gearbox to chassis as if this is corroded then it will cause an issue ,you can check this by connecting a jump lead from battery earth to engine good earth point and try starting ,If ok .Then check you have 12volts or more at the battery ,if in doubt charge the battery, then connect a multimeter across your battery and apply different voltage loads I.e. turn on lights ,heater etc, and ensure that the alternator keeps adjusting the charge.
