hi I have a Chrysler grand voyager 2.5 diesel w plate ,the faults are the tick over speed varies (700 to 1200 rpm )and when driving it miss fires as if no fuel getting through for only a split second and at total random speeds, sometimes it miss fires very often , sometime hardly ever also if you park facing up hill over night it won’t start (as if no fuel) park facing down hill no problem starting none of this happens when the weather is cold it only happens when the weather is worm . at the end of last summer i changed the return pipes from injectors as they were split cured the problem but it started again last week i change them again made no difference can anyone help john,

Sounds like an air leak for whatever reason allowing fuel to drain back into tank .Also the injector leak off pipes were common , but you seemed to have eliminated them .Dont know if that car has a valve fitted but you could try fitting a one way valve in the fuel pipe to stop the fuel draining back .

hi if a leaking fuel a pipe (no ob.vious leaks) is cousing the miss fire would this be in any of the pipes or a pacific pipe john

Could be an injector , might be worthwhile trying one of the fuel injector treatments as this can sometimes sort out clogged / dirty injectors.
