I my sister inlaw as a problem with her car its the orange engine light stays on when driving any idears to why?

Best to check hand book to see what this warning light covers on the Matiz , but sounds like engine management light .If so , you will need to get car scanned to see what codes are shown re. cause .

could orange light mean crank shaft sensor gone faulty ?
